New for Summer 2024!
Summer Art Benefit Show by local artists that benefits local skate park.
Custom hand-painted Joshua Tree artwork from a photo taken by Luke Dorny at Joshua Tree National Park and inspired by the colors from U2’s most famous album: The Joshua Tree, an album that was released during the artist’s teen years.

Inspired by both the experience of the park, and remembering the album of his youth, Luke Dorny merged both inspirations into one, but this design would have a third inspiration as well: The Above and Below. Reversal of colors is the clue.
Creating the Above & Below (Planted) series of deck artworks encouraged the exploration of natural objects in a conceptual way that Luke Dorny has not pursued before.
Show
An art show launches today July 5, 2024 on Winslow Avenue in Dorny’s hometown of Bainbridge Island, WA, for the First Friday Art Walk tonight, and will be installed until late August 2024. Stop by to talk with the artist at Caldwell Banker BAIN. It’s a group show of art by local artists C. Bennett, Josh Fisher, Luke Dorny, and his son Jazz Dorny.
Proceeds from the artwork at the show go towards the effort to update the Poulsbo Skate Park in Poulsbo, WA.
